Light, breezy and open with simplistic décor design, is what makes this place comfortable and cosy, any time of the day or night. Dining undercover, but in an open space gives you access to a premium spot for watching the lights of the Gasometer change colour, if you are dining here at night.

We stumbled upon 'Buzz' during its first opening night in the Gasworks location and we drank fine New Zealand wine while enjoying a tasty pizza. The pizza bases here are superb, they have definitely got these right. The topping then, is just a matter of choice and your own personal taste.
Since we had an enjoyable experience in this casual playful location, I knew we would be back. And two weeks later there we were again meeting friends on a casual visit basis for drinks, bread and dips, making for a simple and delicious way to pass time over some chit chat.
We constantly saw pizzas coming out from the back kitchen, so it seems this is a popular order from this place. The general menu selections however, are simple and classic, along with their style of presentation. This should put a smile on your face when your plate is delivered.

Daily opening hours and menu times at Buzz are;
Breakfast 7am – 11am
Lunch 12pm – 3pm
Pizza only 3pm – 5pm
Dinner from 5pm
Although this review is about Buzz at Gasworks, they also have locations in Fortitude Valley (Emporium), Tennyson (southside of Brisbane), and Markets (Rocklea location). This means, you don't have to travel all the way to Gasworks Newstead, so why not try your local location first. Then, if you enjoy, I definitely recommend you make the trip to Gasworks, for your next dining experience as it is a special place in Brisbane.

It would be best to make a booking if you are coming towards the end of the week or at the weekend as these places are quite busy.

Parking TIP: Park under the Woolworths Store, as the first 2 hours are 'free'.

Newstead, is the newest developed hub in Brisbane and it is worth visiting. Read and see more about Gasworks on my article here or my "Dine, Shop and Play" at Gasworks article here.
