Volupte is pretty hard to find, in fact I would say that unless you actually know you are going there, you probably won't find it. However, if you do find it, you'll most certainly be glad you did.
Located on a side street within walking distance of Chancery Lane,
Volupte is not just another burlesque venue. There are literally a plethora of acts on offer, whether
burlesque, bands, djs or cabaret, in fact there's something going on nearly every night, for those who like a little decadent entertainment after a hard day's work (or relaxing, should it be the weekend.)
To help your enjoyment, there is a fine
menu to choose from, and a range of inspired
cocktails to try - with the speciality being a Dixie Dragon, though if you're feeling festive, there's also Egg Nog amongst many other things.
As seems to be the fashion in London at the moment, expect to dress up a little bit 40's glam - though I believe it's ok if you don't (though do go towards at least looking smart) - if not for any other reason than to blend in with the very stylish velvet-draped surroundings.
