Located at Yandina, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Buderim Ginger Factory offers a fun and educational day out for all the family. Jump on board the historic Ginger Train and enjoy a tour of the rainforest grounds and the history of the site.
Follow the process of ginger production, from below the ground up, with a tour of the factory and enjoy tasting the finished product. If visiting the factory inspires you to do some gardening, ginger plants are sold at the Buderim Ginger Factory's nursery.
Queensland's iconic
Super Bee has a new home at the Buderim Ginger Factory and visitors can enjoy seeing the inside of a hive at the live bee show and taste testing fresh honey.
Buderim Ginger Factory is home to Gingertown, where visitors can view porcelain dolls and automotive related displays. Ginger treats and body products can be purchased at Gingertown or at The Ginger Shop, which carries over 3,000 products. Honey lovers can pick up supplies at the Super Bee Honey Shop.
An on site licensed cafeteria provides a variety of options for lunch and snacks. For sweet-tooths, the Birdi-Num-Num Buderim Bliss Ice Creamery offers a choice of 65 made on site ice cream flavours.
Buderim Ginger Factory is open daily between 9am and 5pm and offers on an off street parking. The
Nambour train line is the public transport option for visiting Buderim Ginger Factory. Entry to the grounds is free however tours and experiences attract a charge.
