My Mother's Day treat this year was a trip to . I have had many massages and treatments over the years, but this one was above and beyond anything I have ever before experienced. Sheer Bliss.

From the moment you step in the door, you feel calmer. The atmosphere is peaceful and gentle. The therapists were quiet, welcoming and highly competent. Every movement was gentle, nurturing and heavenly. The products used were of high quality. I have very sensitive skin and my body felt revitalised and smooth for several days afterwards.

Our Spa Journey package included a scrub, shower, massage and facial. This price included use of the sauna and heated plunge pool. There are so many choices on the menu including a men's facial, massage and pedicure. The treatments are not cheap but they are worth every cent!

The Spa is in an unlikely location at the entrance to the Arthouse Lounge Cinema and Byron Bay Brewery but once inside you could imagine you are in Bali.

We drove down from Brisbane and back again (2 hours each way). Obviously it would be even more relaxing if you were staying nearby.

After our treatments we were served a light, delicious chicken salad and a glass of sparkling wine. We ate in the outdoor area by the pool keeping company with Buddha and a lizard.

Need some pampering. Give a try.

You won't regret it.
