"Like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That's about it."
Quote from Forrest Gump (1994)

And at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant and Market, you'll get lots of the above as well as award winning dixie style baby back ribs, fresh fish, succulent lamb, other seafood and gorgeous salads.

Located right in the heart of Times Square with killer views of all the action, you can't go past Bubba Gump for a terrific family meal in friendly atmosphere. Go there with a bunch of friends and you won't be disappointed. The restaurant is completely decked out with Forrest Gump paraphernalia and has a strong vibey atmosphere with upbeat, scurrying wait-staff, eager to catch you out with Gump trivia.

Much of the food on the huge menu is deep fried but comes to you tasting crispy and fresh, certainly not dripping with fat. The "Bucket of Boat Trash" is lobster tails and fish fillets served with Bubba's Cocktail sauce & butter oil. Sometimes, you just have to indulge.

One of the loveliest salads ever is the Pear and Berry Salad. A refreshing accompaniment to the meat and seafood.

The drinks menu is amazing with smoothies, shakes, juices, slushies and a fantastic range of cocktails...they'll even make a margarita at your table. Prices are very reasonable and everything on the menu comes with a calorie count, so you can make an "informed" decision as to how much you'd like to pig out.

Framed still images from the film line the walls, and Depression-era props perch on shelves. The shop downstairs is like all marketing arms of a tourist destination, but if you're into souvenirs, then you could do what we did and walk away with some Bubba Gump plastic tumblers, and perhaps a cap - just to say you've been there - and enjoyed every moment.
