3 Rotherwood Drive, Malvern East) is something of an antique and collectible book depository. This book store offers old, rare and second hand books with a heavy focus on Australiana, especially state history. Some of the topics covered include military, aviation, literature (plus a literature in translation section), theatre, childrens, botany, music and anthropology (see their website for a complete list).
BSP also stocks a range of old postcards, many in mint condition, vintage periodicals (the collection of early twentieth century Women's Weekly is sublime), comic books and original line drawings by Robert Hansen.
If you're not in Melbourne or can't get to the store, simply browse the selections on the website and place an order by email or fax. BSP Books ships within and outside Australia. Payment can be made by credit card (Visa and Mastercard only) or bank cheque in Australian dollars. Not sure about buying second hand goods online? Items can be returned within ten days for a refund or exchange.
