For many people, the pet pooch is a part of the family. The owners of Browndog Cafe evidently feel the same way.
Everything about the
Browndog Cafe (
54 Logan Road, Woolloongabba) screams dog friendly venue. The name is only the beginning; dog owners, dog walkers and dog lovers flock to this cafe because of its relaxed attitude towards canines. The decor and menu are decidedly dog themed (including, of course, the Hair of the Dog breakfast option) and there is plenty of space around the cafe to set your pup up with a drink of its own. It is, in fact, it is the only Brisbane eatery mentioned on the
Doggy Dining website.
The venue itself is a simple, unassuming cafe in the inner city that serves breakfast, light meals and cafe staples, such as tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes; there are also some vegetarian options. The serving sizes are rather generous so to make the most of your visit, you should go on an empty stomach.
Browndog Cafe is open Monday to Saturday and meal prices range between $10 - $20.
If you'd like to take Rover out on a doggy date, there can't be a more appropriate venue than Browndog Cafe.
