On the weekend of Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October 2014, Brisbane Open House is on again. Here is your chance to discover and appreciate Brisbane's amazing and sometimes hidden architecture. The doors of many of our contemporary, historic, and environmentally significant buildings will be open. And entry is free.

Brisbane Open House gives you access to some of Brisbane's defining landmarks. These include historic homes, public building and privately owned places.


Take this opportunity to learn about these buildings courtesy of tours given by renowned Brisbane architects and informed volunteers .

Last year 71 buildings were included in the event. This year the number has increased to almost 100 architectural treasures.

The popular Children's Program and Photography Competition will also return in 2014.
