I recently found myself in Beecroft for the first time, and couldn't believe my eyes. The huge trees and well established gardens trick you into believing you have left the city completely and have arrived in a small welcoming country town.
I parked in the village car park and headed toward my appointment, passing through the shopping centre. Oh how lovely everybody was happy to share a smile or a kind hello, they happily made way for my ambling toddler. I felt like I had come home.
They are some gorgeous shops in the centre, a wonderful variety of practical, stylish and just plain special. I will definitely be back for a more leisurely stroll. I am planning to bring Hubby here for breakfast. I think it would be a wonderful end to a busy week/start to a relaxing weekend.
Which brings me to the other thing that really stood out here. The cafes, all through the village I could smell fresh food being prepared. Seriously if you have not been to Beecroft village for a wander or a meal you are missing something special.
