Published January 31st 2011
Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the perfectly manicured greenery of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mt Cootha and learn something in the process.

Embark on a free guided tour of the Botanic Gardens (Mt Cootha Road, Brisbane) to learn about the botany, features and care of the various gardens. Tours are led by experienced volunteer guides and last for about one hour. The walks depart from the Information Centre at 11.00am or 1.00pm from Monday to Saturday.

If you have a passion for botany and knowledge about different plant collections, why not become a volunteer guide? Contact the Botanic Gardens by phone or e-mail between Monday and Wednesday to register your interest.

If you've ever wanted to learn more about these inner city gardens, the free guided tour will answer all your questions.
