Located in Bay St, between the beach and the railway line just outside the main shopping street in Brighton, this lovely little daytime cafe is a delight. Combining the ambiance of a restaurant, and the causal feel of dining in a cafe, this little spot is a winner. There is a delightful array of baked goods on the display at the counter, to eat in or take away.


Behind the counter lurks what appears to be an enormous kitchen, almost as large as the front of house. These people are definitely serious about their food.


We were there for breakfast I had eggs Benedict and my guest had house made baked beans with crumbled feta on toast which I am reliably informed is a 10 out of 10 dish!


The coffee is also great.


The atmosphere is open and bright with large arched windows providing a steady stream of light. There is alfresco dinning out the back and the front for those who prefer the feel of fresh air.
