By mid 2012, I'll be finishing my economics and international relations degree. I love writing, art, music, hanging out with my friends & being a productive night owl. You can find me on twitter @Meowsha. PS Cats are the best! :)
Located near the bus interchange at Oxford Street Mall, Bondi Junction – the Food and Farmers' Markets and the Food, Farmers' and Artisans' Markets are a part of the Bondi Junction Village Markets. Featuring a grand variety of stalls, these markets are worth checking out. From fresh eggs to gozlemes, you'll likely find something here of value.
I personally went for a gozleme at Gourmet Gozleme as soon as I saw the environmentally friendly packaging, depicted below.
The large serving of my spinach, cheese and mushroom gozleme proved to be all too filling. I couldn't eat anything else. It was a satisfying and affordable lunch, at under $10.
You can sit at the tables at the Bondi Junction Village Markets. Provided for you are magazines for entertainment as you enjoy your food at the seating area.
If you're after some multicultural variety to spice up your day and you happen to be at Bondi Junction on a Wednesday or Thursday 9-5pm, why not check out the Bondi Junction Village Food and Farmers' Markets? Fridays also feature the Food, Farmers' and Artisans markets, also from 9-5pm.
The markets boast independent designer items, unique jewellery, handmade items, t-shirts, decorations, fresh produce, free range poultry and meat, gluten free items, soy candles, special breads, delicacies as well as organic fruit and vegetables. In terms of culture, there is everything from Asian, to Middle-Eastern, European and Australian. This is definitely worth seeing if you like the markets.
