Bondi beach is one of Sydney's favorite beach and surfing spot. But how would you fancy playing golf at a golf course dramatically situated on the top of a cliff that overlooks Bondi beach and the ocean. If that sounds interesting then head upto the Bondi Golf Course in William park that is easily reachable by buses 333, 380 or 389 from the city.
This Bondi Golf Course is a 18 hole public golf course situated in North Bondi and provides a panoramic view of the coastline, Bondi and Bondi Bay. You can enjoy a fine game of golf of 9 holes for $18.00. Details on fees and timings can be found at the
golf club site. There is an air-conditioned clubhouse for you to relax in after a game of golf.
Located in the middle of the golf course is a large chimney of the sewerage treatment works. There are engravings in the middle of the golf course by aboriginal artists. Though 3 groups of engravings were discovered originally only 1 of them is clearly visible as the others are covered by grass. The engravings seem to be of marine animals superimposed on each other.
Enjoy a game of golf at this beautiful location but be careful not to knock the ball too far lest it should land in the water.
