The has been in Cottesloe for many years, and it has just gone on and on improving.

The displays are incredible and worth going there just to see! Their range of all types of food is second to none in Perth, and their food to go is excellent. The range of fruit and vegetables is unreal and some of them I had never even heard of. They are displayed with such flair and imagination that it makes all the food look so inviting.

I had just been involved in a discussion on the internet regarding custard apples, and to my delight, I found them here even though I had not seen them in my local fruit shop. The very friendly man fixing the vegetables showed me where these were and explained how to eat them and get them to the ripe stage for eating!

They have an incredible bakery which includes house made breads of all varieties, cakes, mini cakes, pasties, pies and so much more. It was so tempting, I had to take the photos and quickly walk on as I am unable to eat cake at the moment!

They range in price dramatically and start at $2.50 for a very small cake.

The range of take-away is very varied and is divided into sections with each counter having a specialised food, as well as a large counter with various home cooked meals which you can buy by the kilo/container. They have dips, sauces, salads, sushi, soups and much more for those who are busy and do not have time to make everything themselves. From previous experience, most of these are excellent, despite being quite expensive.

They even have special sections for some of their homemade hot meals which you can buy in small quantities or eat on the go. Apart from those photographed below, they also had a huge dish with a house-made Italian Chicken Cacciatore meal (hot) which looked delicious.

Their range of cheese is the best I have seen in Perth in a long time, and includes cheeses from all over the world.

The is definitely not a cheap place to buy, although they do have specials on their fruit/vegetables which are always very fresh. It is refreshing not to find bad bits in fruit, and if you shop at The , this is a rarity as the fruit is hand picked and checked continuously by the many staff in this area.

Their range of flowers was stunning - colourful, fresh, and striking.

They also have a fish shop and a butcher attached to the main middle shop and needless to say, they also sell quality products.

This is an experience not to be missed, and is situated at 40 Jarrad Street, Cottesloe and is open until 8.00 pm, with off street parking right outside.
