Running for over 30 years the Blackwood Rotary Art Exhibition, held at Blackwood High School, showcases South Australian amateur and professional art and photography.
Admission is FREE and you're sure to enjoy the massive range of artists' works on display. From the modern to the traditional to the unique and unusual, there is something for everyone and something for every budget.
What's more, you've got plenty of time to see the display as it takes place over two consecutive Thursdays to Sundays in July (see times and dates below).
Escape the chilly winter and see what's on display.
You'll also be supporting lots of communities as all proceeds go towards local and international Rotary projects.
The
Rotary Club of Blackwood has been contributing to the local community for 43 years. The club was charted on the 14 September 1970.
Over the years the club has contributed to local projects such as Meals on Wheels, the Blackwood Hospital, the Blackwood Community Recreation Centre, the Blackwood High School Performing Arts Centre, St John's Ambulance and local CFS Units.
At a national level the club provides funds for support with disasters such as the Tasmanian bushfires and the QLD floods. And at an international level the club supports projects such as Rotary Overseas Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC) and the Shelter Box Project supplying emergency accommodation and supplies for disaster areas.
