From great music, to classic books and old school board games, this café exudes charismatic style and good times.
The taste buds will tingle with a wide variety of food and beverages to tempt the fussiest eater, from vegetarian lasagna to seafood carbonara to burgers, with most mains sided with a choice of salad or potato and pumpkin fries. Crack a bottle-of-whatever, because it's BYO with any main meal purchase and hang out with a great bunch of people who create an atmosphere of fun, creativity, comfort and somewhere you might just end up calling home. The décor invites you in to a realm of chic vintage, something like a trendy grandma's place.
My only grumble would be the accessibility of finding it. The rabbit hole that is Surfers Paradise may leave you wandering around in circles if you're not a local. This quaint little dwelling can be found at Shop 40/41, 3131 Surfers Paradise Blvd, Surfers Paradise Australia (across from Waxy's Irish Pub).
The prices are reasonable and the coffee is a blend made from organic and fair trade beans, so there is no guilt with such pleasure. With prices suiting the most penny-pinching diner, Black Coffee Lyrics is a café that you can easily waste a day away in.
