Big Pelican, Noosaville

Big Pineapple. Big Banana. Big Prawn. And, of course, Big Pelican. Why do we love these quirky "Big" icons so much?

The Big Pelican at Noosaville is positioned right amidst shady parklands along the Noosa River, a favourite haunt of many real pelicans. It really is something to see a flock of these huge birds coming in to land - whoooshshshsh. Kids will love feeding these amazing creatures too.

There are plenty of cafes, bookshops, kids' playgrounds, bike tracks and outdoor gym equipment all nearby, making this an ideal area to spend the entire day. Noosaville is also a quieter option than Noosa Main Beach for those on holidays with young children and toddlers.

You can also hire boats (great for riding up and down the river), jet skis, kayaks and paddleboards, build sandcastles in the riverside sand and eat super fresh fish and chips.
