Pilates reformer classes (in case you may not be aware) involves a variety of different movements and resistance training on a bed of springs which are adjusted, based on the poses given at any given moment. The focus is predominantly on your core and abs, however other body parts are also focused on.
This experience at many establishments would set you back $80 for a one-hour class, however thankfully there are a few gyms around the city that offer pilates reformer classes as part of their membership.
Two establishments that make this list in also being the best pilates reformer classes would have to be the
V Club at Druitt Street as well as the
Elixr Health Club at Park Street in the city.
Expect caring and experienced instructors and a choice of different pilates reformer classes, all on a low membership beginning from $24 a week. Even though you use a bed with springs and ropes; the reformer classes still provide a challenging workout. Elixr specialises in these type of classes, and they provide chill out music to listen to during the session.
Elixr provides the best ambience and V Club provides the cheapest membership out of these two establishments.
What do you think? Where have you found Sydney's best pilates reformer class? And why is it so great?
