You might not think that there would be flea markets in Manhattan; after all, where would they put one? Surprisingly, they've found places to put several, and all of them are unique in their own way.

Stroll down the streets in different Manhattan neighborhoods (we'll tell you which ones in a minute) and look at all the bargains you'll find. With this being New York, you know you're going to find something that you wouldn't find anywhere else. When you do, don't be afraid to haggle just a little bit, but grab it while you can. If you wait, it might not be there when you come back.

Sunday Market on Columbus Avenue

This market is open all year long. During the winter months (November-March, the hours are from 10:00 AM until 5:30 PM. From April to October, the market is open from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. That's on Sunday, of course. There are a few instances when this market is open on Saturday; you can call 212-239-3025 to find that out.

What will you find at the Sunday market on Columbus Avenue? Just about anything you wouldn't find at a regular retail store. You can find vintage or antique clothes and household items. If old isn't your style—in fact, if you have your own style, check out the vendors that offer made-to-order clothing and jewelry. That's just a sample of what you'll find, you'll have to come on down to see everything else that's available.

The Market NYC , 238 Mulberry and 328 W. 14th

This is not your average flea market. Fashion and accessory designers literally work out of the spaces available at these two locations, so on Saturday and Sunday, when the market is open to the public, you're definitely going to find one-of-a-kind designs.

When you go to The Market NYC, think trendy, hip, funky—along those lines, because that's what those designers specialize in. One thing's for sure, your purchase isn't going to be just another flea market find.

The Antiques Garage ; West 25th Street Market; Hell's Kitchen Flea Market

These three flea markets have each have their own distinction. For the best bargains, check out the West 25th Street Market. Find the best antiques at The Garage, and look for your furniture deals at the Hell's Kitchen Flea Market.

The Hell's Kitchen Flea Market was voted one of the best in the nation by National Geographic. That right there tells you you're going to find some different things you won't elsewhere. Haggling is expected, so come prepared to have some fun.
