You know how the song goes - The Best Things in Life Are Free, and in Brisbane, there are so many things you can do and see - for free. That's right - at no cost at all.

Some of the top free Brisbane activities would have to include viewing a free exhibition at the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art and at the Museum of Brisbane, a free concert at the Customs House and catching a free film screening at the Australian Cinémathèque (GOMA). You could even make way around the Brisbane CBD via the Free Loop downtown bus service.

The Brisbane Weekend Notes team have also highlighted a variety of key free Brisbane activities including Brisbane I-Spy, a visit to Harley Park and the Ian Dipple Lagoon, Free Walking Tours for Seniors, and free family fun with free admission to the Daisy Hill Conservation Park.

If you know of a great free Brisbane activity, please let us know by leaving a comment below.

We look forward to your responses.

If you are a fan of modern art, I suggest you check out the IMA. You can sign up to their mailing list or 'like' them on Facebook to keep up with their art openings.
