There is an abundance of healthy take away foods available for lunch or dinner, and thankfully you don't have to go too far if your running late or perhaps your not in the mood to cook. Out of all of the authentic Thai takeaways in Sydney,
Le Thai in the city would be a standout. Fresh flavours, and just simply appetising Thai food, to the point where all you just want to do is come back for more and more, especially if the spice factor is at an all time high.
Otherwise for yummy salads and yoghurt, and for the occasional healthy roast lunch, then
True Cravings is also a great pit stop. Westfield Sydney appears to have it all covered. Meanwhile, Rozelle has some great fast food establishments of its own that have stood the test of time. Friendly staff members, sometimes maybe that little bit too friendly - however for a hamburger with the lot including egg or even just for a simple beef burger and chips, ABC Food Takeaway on Darling Street will satisfy any hunger pains.

Sandwich Delight is a treat, as well as The Grumbling Tum (back at Rozelle) along Darling Street. For those yummy Byron Bay White Chocolate Chunk and Macadamia cookie fetishes in the morning -
Modena at the Queen Victoria Building also came to the rescue; super fast service for when it was needed before going into the office of a morning. And their pizzas are also worth something despite being a bit on the high end price wise.
For quick, cheap Indian food that you would prefer to eat at home (yummy curry for sure), the Palace of North India in Rozelle is also fantastic, especially if noodles, fish and pizza has been a bit overdone. A refreshing change in itself. Otherwise, for a late night pizza (we are talking anywhere from 9pm) onwards, despite the funny name, Insomnia Kebabs and Pizza always passed the test on their meat lovers and margarita pizzas.
