Melbourne is home to many buffet restaurants which offer a wide range cuisines for a single all you can eat price. One of the top buffet restaurants in Melbourne would have to be Melba Brasserie. It could be considered a pricey affair, but the food is certainly top notch. Melba Brasserie is renowned for a top quality seafood buffet and Weekend Notes contributor Julia Hebaiter was equally fond of this establishment, which is located at the Langham Hotel. A great family restaurant, Melba Brasserie features Indian, Asian and European cuisine and usually has weekly specials. At Melba Brasserie you can relax in an elegant environment and enjoy your meal at your own pace.

Other great Melbourne buffet restaurants would have to include China Bar Signature and the Conservatory.

If you know of a great buffet restaurant located in or around Melbourne, please let us know about it by leaving a comment below.

We look forward to your feedback.

Great topic Vanessa :) There's a popular "German" buffet called Cuckoo at Mt Dandenong. Lovely atmosphere, nice variety of cold and hot foods, desserts, cheeses. Yum. But pricey (~$40+?)

All you can eat yum cha (~$17) at the Dragon Boat Restaurants in Melbourne CBD. At night, at Dragon Boat, and many others across CBD there is all you can eat hot pot starting at ~$20 per person.

There was Sante at Crown Casino too. Cheap, international buffet, best part was the desserts. I went at the start of the year, but seems like it's closed already.

Worst all you can eat place I went to was Pizza Hut in Ballarat haha. Salad bar didn't have much options, and there were 2 or 3 types of desserts. Plus, how many pieces of pizza can you eat anyway?
