American cuisine is largely associated with fast food; from oversized burgers to deep fried chicken but there are some great regional dishes like New England clam chowder,
Loco Moco,
St. Louis-style barbecue, the
Reuben sandwich, Chili con carne and many more.

In Melbourne we are lucky enough to find some variations on these American classics - particularly the fast food dishes in places such as
Misty's Diner and
Soda Rock Diner, where you can easily find a burger and fries, but what about the other American dishes, you ask?
Melbourne has that covered as well!
The menu at
The Bottom End, located in the Melbourne CBD, features 'Mac and Cheese', 'Philly Cheese Steak' and 'NYC Buffalo Wings', and over at New York Pizza Deli (NYPD), located in St. Kilda, you will find delicious New York style pizza.
Grandstand Hot Dogs, located in the Melbourne CBD, is great for a hot dog fix and
Steer Bar and Grill, located in South Yarra, has a mean Reuben sandwich and fabulous steaks. As for the chowder,
