Berry Reserve is located at Narrabeen - on Sydney's northern beaches. The reserve is a corridor of open spaces along Narrabeen Lagoon and stretches from The Esplanade to Loftus Street.
The beautiful lakeside setting is ideal for all types of recreation – walking, cycling as well as canoeing, fishing and swimming.
Children can feed ducks, fly a kite, ride their bikes, scooters or skateboards along the foreshore and for younger kids both the northern and southern end of the reserve offer enclosed playgrounds. The northern end also has a small basketball court.
Berry Reserve has BBQs, tables and benches located near the playgrounds and seats are also scattered along the entire reserve. Large trees provide plenty of shade.
Toilets can be found on the northern end of the reserve close to Pittwater Road. The reserve has a small carpark – 3 hour parking Monday to Friday and 2 hour parking on Saturdays and there is also street parking on the main road as well as some of the side streets. One word of caution – if you are parking on Pittwater Road, make sure you move your car by 3pm as it becomes a clearway.
Narrabeen offers plenty of take away shops, cafes and restaurants, so if you need a day out with the kids, just load them into the car and head to Berry Reserve.
If you are in the mood for shopping, Berry Reserve runs Narrabeen Village Markets on the 3rd Sunday of every month. The markets are open from 9am – 4pm. For more information on the markets,
