Make a beautiful flower with renowned Brisbane felter, Shelley Burton in this hands-on workshop at Annerley Community Hub . With all materials provided, you will make a gorgeous flower or square to add to a project or make into a piece of jewellery.

Felting is an ancient art which takes wool roving and other natural fibres and blends them into a thick and warm fabric which can be used for clothing, blankets and a variety of other projects. You can also felt hats, shoes and all sorts of other exciting pieces by learning the manipulations and techniques which Shelley can give you basic information about.

The classes are set in the very quaint cottage occupied by the Annerley Community Hub which used to be the minister's house in the old Baptist Church. It still has all the original hallmarks of the grand old house and is a comfortable homely space to work in with this class.

By booking a ticket , you also support the community centre and allow them to continue working with the most vulnerable members of our society.
