Before Watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (Part 2)

I have a feeling there are some of these people out there. The kind of people who have an urge to see the last Harry Potter film, but who are incredibly insecure as to whether they even can. They are the kind of people who think: no, I can't possibly, I haven't kept up with the film series, I don't remember all the things that have happened in each film. Ergo, I think it is time that someone wrote a summation of everything that is important and that has happened in the Harry Potter films (with the exception of the last one, of course). So for all these poor souls, these articles are dedicated to you.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

- Oh Robert Pattinson, how hot art thou. Pretty boy Robert Pattinson's breakthrough role is supposed to be the role he plays in this film: charming, beautiful Cedric Diggory.
- So two other schools visit Hogwarts for this prestigious tournament, etcetera, etcetera. One is a girls' school, one is a boys' school.
- Someone magically sneaks a piece of paper with Harry's name on it into the Goblet of Fire. Ergo, Harry has to rise up to status of hero once again and be like no other of his age (he's meant to be too young to enter the tournament). Poor Harry.
- It turns out Mad-Eye Moody, the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, isn't who he says he is. He is someone working for Voldemort, who's been drinking Polyjuice Potion to morph into the likeness of someone else.
- Robert Pattinson, a.k.a. Cedric Diggory, dies. How sad. What a waste. And Voldemort is raised from the half dead, with the help of Harry's blood.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

- So apparently there's some prophecy that's trapped in an orb that's located at the Department of Mysteries, inside the Ministry of Magic. Apparently Voldemort wants this prophecy really bad because it's about him and Harry. The prophecy says that an ultimate showdown is necessary, or somesuch.
- All through the Harry Potter movies, Harry's had some sort of connection with Voldemort. Being around him hurts his scar. He can speak Parseltongue (or snake language), just like Voldemort can. And sometimes he sees visions, which he finds out are visions from the point of view of Voldemort (something must have transferred from Voldemort to Harry when Harry got zapped as a baby).
- Through one of these visions, Harry saves Arthur Weasley (Ron's dad). Hooray. How much more can you do for a mate? However, Voldemort later finds out about his connection with Harry's mind and manipulates it. Ergo, Harry and some of his friends go to the Department of Mysteries, thinking Sirius is there being tortured by Voldemort. It was false information, the Death Eaters arrive, followed by the good guys, and Sirius dies while fighting with Bellatrix Lestrange.
