Lobethal Bierhaus microbrewery in Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills offers a cellar door to beer connoisseurs.
While Lobethal Bierhaus is a new company (founded in 2007) it is proud to carrying on the traditions of fine beer making in its region. One of the first brewers in SA was at Lobethal in the 1850s and has offered plenty of inspiration for the fledging brewery.
Their handcrafted beers have already won awards and accolades including 1 gold and 4 silver at the International Beer Awards.
Despite its youth it focuses on traditional quality beers, using traditional recipes and local hops and wheat.
