It's another Friday night, and the options are looking bleak. Summer is here and a trip to the beach sounds good, but not all of us are swimmers or walkers. But don't dismay, for the 4th year running Seacliff becomes the host to Adelaide's most popular twilight beachside market on one of Adelaide's most scenic and accessible beach fronts.

Setting suns, cooling breezes and the bubble of activity associated with kids swimming and playing on the beach, and parents walking their dogs along the beach make this an idyllic setting for the . For the last few years, over 100 stalls have set themselves up at each of the past markets, and similar numbers are expected again this season.

For three fantastic Friday nights (8th December, 12th January and 9th February), Angus Neill Reserve at Seacliff becomes the centrepiece of activity with a series of pop-up market stalls encompassing great food, kids activities, live entertainment and showcasing unique, high-quality boutique handmade products.

Kaye and Nicole from Lollipop Markets have been successfully running SA's largest babies and kids handmade market for the better part of a decade, and have now branched out into this huge twilight market. With a reputation for quality, professionalism and discerning taste when it comes to markets, the has been a highly successful wonderful, unique shopping experience on a beautiful, balmy summer's evening. Typical stallholders are those selling high end and/or unique, artisan and boutique products, which are appealing to families, men and women of all ages including jewellery, plants, artworks, designs and other unique creations.

Meanwhile, on the northern part of the Reserve, the City of Holdfast Bay have arranged for a number of food trucks and associated food vendors to tempt and tease you with a series of delightful summer offerings. With a mix of vendors to delight, a three-course meal including drinks is a distinct possibility for visitors.

Angus Neill Reserve is a popular reserve and park in Seacliff complete with toilet facilities and a large shaded playground for kids to play on, including swings, slippery dip and a wobbly bridge. There is also a small grassy hill and a set of wide stairs which kids love to roll down and climb up. With a complete grassed area, the park makes for a very pleasant spot to have a twilight picnic while enjoying the market atmosphere.

So if you are stuck for something to do on a Friday night, or are looking to cool off by the foreshore in style, then why not head down to Angus Neill Reserve at 197 Esplanade, Seacliff and enjoy a great market, some food and entertainment, and a relaxing and peaceful start to your weekend. Best parking is available on Portland Street, Young Street or Kauri Parade. Entry to the market is free. For further details refer to either the Lollipop Markets website or their Facebook page .
