For a great night of iconic Aussie rock music, don't miss the inaugural Beachfest 2013.

On Saturday March 23rd, the South Adelaide Football Club will host a huge outdoor concert. In a who's who of the Australian music industry, you can see these seasoned musicians performing all their classic hits live:

-Jimmy Barnes
-Jon Stevens
-The Black Sorrows
-Ross Wilson
-Swanee

General Admission tickets to Beachfest 2013 cost $89.95 for adults or $39.95 for children (must be accompanied by a paying adult) and those under the age of twelve are free with a paying adult.

There is a limited number of Reserved Lawn tickets available for $149 which allows access to a special section with a great view located just behind the VIP area in front of the stage.

The VIP Package costs $295 which includes priority entry at 3pm for a gourmet barbecue, reserved seating in prime position in front of the stage and official Beachfest merchandise so you look the part with a t-shirt and cap.

The best part? Proceeds from the concert support Surf Life Saving South Australia to keep our beaches safe. You can purchase your tickets at Beachfest 2013 or Ticketek .



Located just a short drive away from beautiful Christies Beach, South Adelaide Football Club can be found at 1 Lovelock Drive, Noarlunga Downs. Gates open at 4pm for General Admission and Reserved Lawn ticket holders. It is bound to be a popular event so be early to snare the best spot on the oval.

The show will go on rain or shine, best bring a raincoat if the weather is wet. You can also bring small beach chairs, rugs and blankets to make yourself comfortable. Pack a picnic if you like but there will also be a range of food and beverages available to purchase at the venue.

The concert is scheduled as follows:

4.30pm: Swanee , who just happens to be Jimmy Barnes' older brother, will get the party started. He has been making music since the late 1970s as a solo performer and in popular bands like the The Party Boys.

5.30pm: Joe Camilleri and his blues/rock band The Black Sorrows take the stage to perform their popular songs such as 'Chained to the Wheel' and 'Hold on to Me'.

6.30pm: Following on see Ross Wilson , singer/songwriter/musician/producer and frontman of legendary Australian bands Mondo Rock and Daddy Cool, "doin' the Eagle Rock".

7.30pm: Jon Stevens , best known as the lead singer of Noiseworks and also had a turn singing for INXS, will make you want to "reach out and touch somebody".

9pm: Finally the 'Working Class Man' himself, Jimmy Barnes will finish the concert with his well known songs from Cold Chisel and sixteen solo albums for you to sing along to.



That's over six hours, and five performers with careers spanning more than four decades, of solid Aussie gold rock. Great music at the perfect venue to support a worthy cause, it doesn't get much better than Beachfest.
