Who doesn't want to drive around a racing track? Enjoy the wind in your hair on those hairpin bends, steep hills, and hell corner, even if it is at a maximum of 60 km/h.

Mount Panorama in Bathurst is a public road which offers this experience. It is most famously known for the Bathurst 1000 races where the blue and red battle it out- Ford or Holden, who do you choose? Mount Panorama also hosts other events such as the Bathurst Motor festival and Amor all Bathurst 12 Hour.

Mount Panorama also offers accommodation with an uninterrupted view of the track. Citigate Mount Panorama is the perfect location for your trip to Mount Panorama, particular during the October Bathurst 1000. It is only 2 kms from the town centre, so whether you visit Annie's Ice Creamery or enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many pubs, you're close to home.

Bathurst has plenty of history to undercover from being founded in 1815 amongst the goldrush, right through to now. There are plenty of museums, churches and parks to explore and if you're lucky you might even spot a possum in Machattie Park. The nightlife has also evolved and if you're up for a big one, the Oxford Hotel is the place to visit.

The mount is host to residential properties, a winery and even gold panning lessons so take on the 6.213 km track. Sure you won't beat Lowndes lap record of 2:06.8012 but you will tick off one item on your bucket list.
