Bathurst Motorsport Legends Night at Village Green

Some of the great Legends of Australian Motorsport are gathering in Melbourne this September for what will be an unforgettable event. For those even mildly interested in getting up close and personal with the heroes of the Bathurst circuit and many other Australian racetracks, this is an evening that is certain to surpass expectations.



Two Tribute Cars (XB & XC Falcon Coupes) in Allan Moffat livery will be on display at the main entrance and you will be greeted by Flag Marshalls on arrival.



Allan Moffat, Alan Hamilton, Jim Richards, Phil Brock, Murray Carter, Jim Keogh .... the list goes on. A driver's parade and video clips will start the evening off, followed by some exciting replays of sections of the 1977 Bathurst race, featuring the famous 1-2 Ford finish with Alan Moffat and Colin Bond.



Hear the Legends tell their inside stories during panel discussion and question time and don't miss grabbing a piece of history during the extensive memorabillia auction. There is an expectation of loads of laughter and nostalgia as the heroes recall some of their lighter moments as well.



Ensuring that the evening remains light-hearted, a fun trivia quiz will be held and the organisers are looking for a Bathurst Trivia Champion. Win in the raffle with a difference, drawn towards the end of the evening. Scattered through the evening will be various video clips of drivers, races and iconic cars.

The evening will end with driver signings, so bring your treasured possessions with you. Due to time constraints, there is a limit of only two (2) items per person and any Allan Moffat model cars must be Biante.



For those wishing to dine before the event, Tuesday night sees a $12 Steak Night in the Cafe and the Sports Bar and the restaurant has an "All You Can Eat" buffet for just $26.



For the many coming from interstate or long distances in Victoria, suitable accommodation is directly across from the venue.

Due to the extensive program, the evening will commence at 7:30pm sharp and the cost is $30. Places are filling rapidly, so buy your tickets by contacting Alan Smith on [email protected] to obtain details for payment.
