Barefoot Bowls

Lawn Bowls is not just for retirees in white outfits and misfits looking for a free parking space.

Many clubs open up access to their hallowed greens for barefooted degenerates such as yourself to run around on a sunny afternoon with no shoes on and drink in hand pretending that you know how to get a wobbly ball to go where you want it to.

It's fun for you and generates much needed extra income for the clubs which would otherwise be turned into multi-story carparks.

Make sure you read up on the rules so you can appear wise in the ways of the wonky ball to your friends.

Here is a list of lawn bowls clubs in sydney. Most of them have barefoot bowling times, check with the one nearest you.

Why? A sunny afternoon, grass under the feet, friends, a fun game. Why not?
