After a long hard week at work, all you want to do is go home and relax...Ha. What am I kidding? You want to go out and have a drink or two, dance just that little bit and see your friends whilst recapping on the events of your week. The question is, where to go?

The next time you're completely lost for ideas of where to go to let your hair down, consider the . Centrally located in the heart of the CBD, is sure to tick off the check list of the essentials for Friday night after work drinks.

Why? Firstly, is a great live music venue, showcasing a list of international artists. On Friday nights there is live RnB and soul, as well as dj sets of old school RnB, perfect for a bit of dancing.

There is a warm and inviting ambience which is coupled with dim lights and friendly faces. Everyone is there to have a good time. Baraki isn't too big that you'll constantly lose your friends. It's a perfect size where it is just intimate enough, without everyone being squished together.

Decor wise, Baraki combines Mediterranean style with religious iconography, which results in a unique bar experience. There are armchairs and ottomans scattered around, perfect for those who want to sit and enjoy the music. The bar staff are very friendly and there is a good menu of cocktails to try, European beers and of course, wine.

For a great place to have a couple of drinks with the workmates at the end of the week, comes highly recommended.
