Bali & Oates RRP $25.00 Special at Launch only $20.00.

RSVPs are appreciated (for catering purposes) through the guestbook page at www.paulgreenway.net or through [email protected]

Many overseas backpackers and aspiring travel writers will know Paul Greenway from his many travel books (last count over 30 books) to weird and wonderful locations like Mongolia, Yemen, Poland and Botswana with Lonely Planet, or his contributions to Lonely Planet's restaurant guides and Unpacked anthology series.

Some of you will be familiar with Paul's Workshops for aspiring travel writers conducted at literary events at the Langhorne Creek Writers' Festival and SA Writers Centre. He discusses ways participants can earn money from travelling and shares different ways of how to get published by improving your writing, creating a niche, pitching and forwarding the right articles to the right people, and keeping the editors happy.

Today Paul works as a full time writer and has most recently written The All Grown-Up Guide to Bali and sold articles and photos to travel magazines in Australia and Asia. He recently
spent time in Bali researching and writing a guidebook and a photo book for Periplus Publications in Singapore. In South Australian schools he has also taught English, Indonesian and tourism. In Jakarta he has trained teachers in Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Paul's first involvement as a ghost-writer and autobiographer of The Hard Way Home, is based on extensive diaries and blogs written by Allan Roberts' extraordinary travels on a motorbike from London to his home town in country Victoria over 899 days through about 60 countries. The Hard Way Home will be published by JoJo Publishing (Melbourne) in early 2014. Follow these pages for further details.

Paul recently completed writing a trilogy of novels, the first in the series, Bali & Oates, is now available at matchallpartial&Nty=1&Ntt=paul greenway Dymocks Bookshops and online as an ebook through Amazon. .

Bali & Oates, incorporates Paul's background as an officer for ASIO (Australian Security Intelligence Organisation) and as a writer for Lonely Planet guidebooks. Unashamedly, it is an action, comedy, political, satire, which touches on the excesses of public servants, diplomats and intelligence/police officers, plus other things such as football and music.

Special announcement! If any of you Book Lovers are near Dymock's Bookshop, 135 Rundle Mall, on Fri 13th (yes, it's not an auspicious date) at 12.30 pm, please stop by and say hello! Paul will be happy to chat with you and sign copies of Bali & Oates.
