The
Badde Manors Cafe along Glebe Point Road near the Broadway Shopping Centre has been around for a long time. It is a great coffee hang out spot, particularly with the nearby university students, from lunchtime onwards during the week, or anytime on the weekend.
The decor has that old freaky vibe of old church pews and other old treasures. This establishment can slightly remind one of Mario's Cafe along Glenferrie Road in Melbourne's Hawthorn. Attracts the trendy, funky and hippy people. The name of this establishment can be off putting to a few people.
I have not eaten anything here, except for drinking goodness knows how many lattes. Makes way for a great sit down caffeine hit before moving back into the city or nearby Victoria Park. The coffee isn't too bad, although it isn't the best coffee I have tasted either. This is the type of establishment that people can go to out of habit. Quite a good ambience.
