Autumn is a busy period at the Adelaide Showgrounds and this year is no exception with over 30 events, exhibitions and displays, with something guaranteed for almost everyone.



Future Music Festival (9 March)

Kicking off Autumn is the annual Future Music Festival, which concludes its national tour in Adelaide. Featuring over 30 acts and headlined by Drake, Aviici and The Prodigy, this festival commences at midday and continues through to late in the evening.



Royal Adelaide Autumn Horse Show (28-29 March)

Horses of all shapes and sizes – from Shetland Ponies, Riding Ponies, Quarter Horses, Australian Stock Horses and Palominos - will compete in both led and ridden classes.



Dressage, Show Jumping and Interschool State Championships (10-12 April)

Held over 3 magnificent days, Equestrian SA delivers Adelaide's premier equestrian event. With over 30 schools from all corners of South Australia expected to compete, the Championships provide a great opportunity for participants to qualify for the National championships later in 2015.



Pregnancy, Babies & Children's Expo (10-12 April)

The Pregnancy, Babies & Children's Expo allows visitors to discover all they need to know for themselves, their pregnancy or their child. This year's expo promises greater access than ever before to the latest advice and products for whatever stage of parenting visitors are at.



Oz Comic-Con (18-19 April)

Oz Comic-Con celebrates the latest and greatest from the world of comics, movies, television, toys, anime, manga, video games and more. In a special coup, fan favourite Doctor Who companion Billie Piper (Rose Tyler) will be an iconic attendee , while other guests set to attend Oz Comic-Con include Nicholas Brendon and Emma Caulfield (Buffy), Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Ken Kirzinger (Freddy vs. Jason) and Bill Farmer (the voice of Goofy).

Gift & Craft Fair (24-26 April)

A huge weekend in store with two expos and a fair, with adult entry to one expo getting you in to all three. The Sunday Mail Home Living expo showcases the latest in building, extending, renovation and decorating products, furnishings, home entertainment, landscaping ideas and also features the Food, Wine & Cooking Show where you can tempt your taste buds, see the latest kitchen & cooking products.

In the neighbouring hall is the Animal Expo, with Dr Harry Cooper, with a large variety of cute and unusual animals plus pet supplies, expert advice and entertainment. Finally the April Gift & Craft Fair offers hundreds of handmade and unique products for sale.



Native Plants Sale (25-26 April)

This year's autumn native plant promises to be one of the best with a great range of natives, a good selection of Banksias to choose from, as well as many other hard-to-get plants.



Bowerbird Bazaar (1-3 May)

The Bowerbird Bazaar is the biannual event that keeps on growing with a dynamic environment that supports Australian designers, makers and artists. The Bazaar brings all kinds of people together for buzzy, design-savvy interactions, and a heartfelt passion for small production runs and the handmade.



Cancer Council Relay For Life (2-3 May)

Relay For Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council's research, prevention, information and support services.

The Stitches & Craft Show is Australia's first and original craft event, and it's coming to Adelaide for the first time ever in 2015. This is the show for anyone who loves creating or who wants to get into craft.



Adelaide Reptile & Frog Expo (16-17 May)

An education, /information and commercial Expo open to the public for anyone interested in reptiles, frogs or invertebrates.



Adelaide Sport & Fitness Expo (16-17 May)

The 2 day show will attract over 8000 fitness minded visitors and showcase the latest in sports and fitness equipment, sports apparel and sports-wear, sports supplements, nutrition products and much more.



Adelaide's Eco Living Expo (16-17 May)
Body Mind & Psychic Expo (16-17 May)

With all things sustainable, and helping to extend the life of the planet, the Eco Living Expo is a must for everyone who cares about the world that we live in.

The Body Mind & Psychic Expo is the largest alternative health, well-being and psychic event in Australia with over 300 stalls, an entertainment stage and continuous workshops.



Adelaide Careers & Employment Expo (22-23 May)

The Careers expo is a great opportunity for students, school leavers and mature age career changers to choose career pathways and improve their employment prospects with interactive seminars, skills areas, apprenticeship & traineeship opportunities and hundreds of education and training opportunities.



Adelaide Retirement & Lifestyle Expo (30-31 May)

This expo caters for the needs of Australia's fastest growing market sector - Australians over the age of 40. With many stalls to consider, the key categories comprise involve finance, holidays and travel, accommodation, health, government and lifestyle interests.

Mega Toy Fair (30-31 May)

The biggest Toy Fair going around with plenty of things to check out from Nintendo to Gameboys to collector cards, Lego, Star Wars, comics, Barbie, tin toys, Hotwheels, trains, tractors, model trucks, slot cars, Biante models, yoyos, dolls, teddy bears, beanie bears and much much more.



Markets (every Saturday and Sunday)

Why not get there are little earlier, and pay a visit to Pratty's Showground Warehouse Market in the Dairy Hall at the Showgrounds every Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 3pm, or perhaps visit the Adelaide Showground Farmers Market from 9am to 1pm on Sundays.
