From the 10th to the 13th of September,
Mt Penang Parklands will be awash with floral displays, landscaped gardens and helpful exhibitions, as the 23rd
Australian Springtime Flora Festival comes to bloom.
Live entertainment, cooking demonstrations and enlightening presentations will be on the
program too, while there will also be a dedicated children’s activity area where parents can deposit their hyperactive offspring.
Encouragingly, there will be no shortage of
highlights. Stunning landscaped gardens will be on show. Celebrity gardeners
Don Burke and
Graham and Sandra Ross will be holding court. Over 300 stalls will be exhibiting handy ideas and outdoor living products. Gourmet food and wine will be on offer. Award-winning chefs will be hosting cooking demonstrations. And live entertainment and street theatre will be running throughout.
Each day of the festival begins at 9.30am and ends at 3.30pm. Admission is $14 for adults, $12 for concession, $4 for children and $32 for families (2 adults and 3 children), with only cash accepted.
