2017 Event Organiser, Tom Gilmartin stated that "[t]he five day event will feature all the various forms of competition skydiving including all the freefall disciplines, Canopy Relative Work and the visually spectacular Canopy Piloting. This is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in Skydiving or Aviation to see exactly what goes on at a busy working Drop Zone. The skies will be full of falling humans and as the competition progresses there will be an increased atmosphere. We're looking forward to welcoming participants and spectators to the event - it's really going to be a lot of fun."
Spectators are invited to come along and watch the event throughout the week from 8.00am daily at Australia's first purpose built skydiving facility. The official practice will be held on 19 - 20 March, followed by the competition from 21 March and finishing on 26 March. The canopy piloting qualifying is scheduled for 21 and 22 March, with the competition running from 23 to 25 March.
