India return to Aussie shores this summer for what is being hyped as one of the biggest series in recent memory.

Australia is coming of a tied series against New Zealand whilst the Indians recently won both their test match and one day international series against the West Indies.

Pundits are tipping this series as being the last time Australian grounds will see the likes of legendary Indian batsmen Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag, with Tendulkar sitting one short of 100 international hundreds.

Meanwhile the below-par form of former Australian captain Ricky Ponting, may result in this also being his last series for his country.

With injuries taking their toll on both sides there will also be debuts for many squad players, with promising Ed Cowan being picked for his first test on Boxing Day.

So what are the dates for each of the four test matches? Here they are;

1st Test: Melbourne Cricket Ground, 26-30 December, 2011
2nd Test: Sydney Cricket Ground, 3-7 January, 2012
3rd Test: Western Australia Cricket Association Ground, 13-17 January, 2012
4th Test: Adelaide Oval, 24-28 January, 2012

Tickets for each specific test match vary, but begin as low as $20 and rise all the way to $130 for the full game day experience and seats.

After the controversial series last time India came to Australia, this four-match feast will surely be full of just as much drama.

All tickets are selling fast as you can imagine, so get yours quickly and make sure you don't miss out on all the live action of the Australia v India 2011/12 test match series.
