Australia Day has not widely been celebrated in years gone by. But this is changing as now Australians are more willing to gather and enjoy this special day.



For those interested in getting up early on the Australia day holiday the Onkaparinga Council is hosting several Australia Day breakfasts. There will be bacon and eggs. toast, cereal and fruit, tea and coffee.

This is a great opportunity for the community and families to come together over a FREE breakfast to celebrate Australia Day. Meet and connect with your community and reflect on our history, diversity, achievements and bright future. Enjoy the family friendly entertainment and activities. This is an open air event for all ages.



The breakfast is from 8am to 11am, Monday January 26th at various venues. But get there early to avoid missing out, as these breakfasts are popular. Bring along your picnic rug or chairs.

The locations are:
ALDINGA BEACH – Symonds Reserve, Butterworth Road
NOARLUNGA CENTRE – Ramsay Place
WILLUNGA – The Old Court House
ABERFOYLE PARK – Happy Valley Sports Park Oval, Taylors Road.
