The Attic is a friendly community-minded café in Alex right opposite the beach. Ian has been owner/chef for eleven years and has an extensive menu for those wanting to eat in or take away and he also caters for functions.



All meals are cooked fresh with wholesome ingredients so they look and taste a treat. They include an all day breakfast menu, sandwiches and wraps to gourmet burgers and full meals with salads.



Coffees and milkshakes, frappes or smoothies offer plenty of choice. Most of the cakes and cookies are cooked on site with the occasional treat imported. The online reviews claim awesome service and amazing breakfasts, and if you're lucky you might get to enjoy a layback crooner with his guitar.



The local arts and crafts that decorate the café are for sale on a no commission basis to help out. They provide a cosy comfortable feel for those dining in or sit outside to take in that sea view.
