A perfect Oasis right near Federation Square to allow children to lose themselves in creativity is called ArtPlay; a haven of it right in the city with high quality art programs and workshops created for children up to the age of 13 years of age to indulge in and enjoy, and this includes DJ Kidz. Some of the programs are free, and some of them incur a small fee depending on the creative event/workshop you would like to book your child/children into. This establishment also works with the National Gallery of Victoria, so quality and art history also comes into play (sorry, no pun intended here) here.

The workshops on offer have been available for the last eight years, and they are run by professional artists which cover all different art forms such as drawing, music, electronic art and painting as well as dancing, visual treasure hunts and cubby building.

Even better, Birrarung Marr is a stylish city park designed with fun and fantastic experiences for children to enjoy including a stylish sandpit, and how great is this - right near the Yarra river too. And not to mention slides, hammocks and balance beams with rock and rope climbing walls for an ever greater experience in keeping the children occupied, fit and entertained. It definitely gives Sydney's Darling Park a good run for its money.
