Unless you're one of those ambitious, no-time-like-the-present types, you've probably got some dream or aspiration that you're totally going to get to one of these days. Maybe it's backpacking Europe, or writing a novel, or going to art school.
If art school is your 'someday' project, then someday is this autumn.
Art Est. Art School is currently taking enrolments for its courses and weekend workshops for term two.
Art Est. is an art school located in a studio warehouse in
Leichhardt. The school offers daytime and night time classes for children and adults, with small class sizes of ten to twelve to ensure maximum interaction between students and teacher.
Course content encompasses a range of different techniques and media. Take a class in water paints, oils, charcoal or mixed media; learn a new skill like screen printing; or improve your drawing ability with a portrait or nude class. If you work or have other commitments, take a class in the evening or on the weekend.
Term Two commences in early May and finishes in late June. You can download the enrolment form from the website.
Art Est. also hosts art tours and regular artistic and photographic exhibitions.
