Archery
While researching Whitewater Rafting for yesterdays issue I came across a whole gaggle of great activities which are related to old Olympic venues.
One which is definitely on my todo list is archery at the Sydney Archery Centre.
Unfortunately they don't let you shoot apples off your friend's head, probably because this would happen, although I'm sure this guy could pull it off.
The Archery Centre caters to all levels of experience, and they have a 90 minute Come 'N' Try course for complete novices. At $20 for training and equipment it's a good deal.
You can book by calling (02) 9748 7313, and the centre is located at the Sydney Olympic Park.
WHEN: Tuesday - Sunday, 10.00am - 4.00pm
WHERE: Sydney Olympic Park
COST: $20 for a Come 'N' Try course
