Apollonian Hotel, located at 19 Laguna Street, Boreen Point, is a great place to visit anytime from 12pm - 2pm for lunch, or 6pm - 8pm for dinner. If you choose to come on a Sunday for the fabulous Spit Roast, it is best to book as it is quite popular. The general pub style menu is available daily as well.

Generally entertainment features on Sunday, during the Spit Roast and details of "what's on' can be found on this section of the Apollonian Hotel's website. Other events at the hotel can be found here.
If you like the sound of this place and like the sound of 'hanging around a bit longer', consider staying a day or two in this urban country region in some of the budget accommodation offered through the Apollonian, (but in a separate restored former railway worker's quarters). Ten budget accommodation rooms are available, which include five double rooms with four of them with queen beds, two rooms with a double bed, 2 singles and two more rooms with 3 single beds in each.
