Anzac Day is our national day of remembrance. It commemorates servicemen and women from Australia and New Zealand who died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations and the contribution and suffering of all those who have served. Increasingly people from all walks of life pause on this day of national remembrance. The dawn service being an enduring way to remember. Another remembrance service commemorating Anzac Day will take place at Pilgrim Uniting Church.



Pilgrim Uniting Church in Adelaide will host an evening Anzac Day service of reflection and prayer to the accompaniment of beautiful choral music. Featuring the combined choirs of Pilgrim Uniting Church and Christ Church North Adelaide.



This service is a new addition that began in 2015 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing and proved so popular it is now an annual event.



Choral Music Featured includes:
Canticles: Gloucester Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis - Herbert Howells (1892-1983)
Evening hymn - Henry Balfour Gardiner (1877-1950)
Anthem: Lord, thou hast been our refuge - Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958)
