See the 1725 opera Antonio e Cleopatra revived. As a part of the 5th Peninsula Summer Music Festival 2011 AIMS Meistersinger Award-winning soprano Siobhán Stagg will appear as Cleopatra in this legendary opera.This will be an Australian on stage public premier of Antonio e Cleopatra.

The impressive performance will feature a specially commissioned costume for Cleopatra manufactured by the Australian Ballet's costumiers. The costume is based on the a portrait by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, currently stored at the NGA.

Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Ironwood, Rachael Beesley will lead a chamber orchestra comprising of some of Australia's finest baroque musicians.
