Amici Bakery and Cafe

A perennial favourite, Amici Bakery Café is one of the finest places to drop into on a cold winter's day for a recharging lunch or snack. Boasting one of the best selections of baked goods on Chapel St, Amici offers such delights as:

• Flourless Orange Cake: sweet and light yet moist in the centre, with a glazed orange slice on top. Scrumptious.
• Sacher Torte Slice: layer upon layer of thick chocolate torte, and bursting with raspberry jam.
• Sticky Date Pudding: a perennial favourite of all cafes, Amici makes a soft gooey pudding laced with rich caramel and a fresh date on top.

The cavernous interior could be cause for concern, but the warm ambience created by the soft lighting and extensive use of wood allows one to sit back and truly relax.

Add great coffee (not too large in size, but fantastically made) and sharp table service and you have one of the finest cafes on Chapel St.
