AllOneWord (
188 Brunswick Street), a unique new Brisbane night spot.
AllOneWord is an intimate venue tucked away beside the
Step Inn (
186 Brunswick Street). Entry to this club comes via a selective guest list of artistic, musical and fashion cognoscenti, but mere mortals can force their way in by offering something different that 'surpasses the mainstream, generic Valley look', according to owner Andrew Ferguson.
Once inside, customers can enjoy the quiet intimacy of a bar that holds less than 200 patrons. Facilities include two bars, one a cosy indoor setting, the other a large, outdoor bar, and a dance floor where patrons can groove to sounds of house, new disco and funk heavy DJ sets.
AllOneWord is also available for function and event hire.
Much like gaming consoles and members of the opposite sex, when it comes to bars it seems like the harder it is to access, the more you want it. Don your niftiest outfit and give AllOneWord a try – if you don't get in, you can always head next door to the Step Inn.
