Walking down Albert Street you'd be forgiven for not noticing there was even a playground there. Entering this gate is like visiting the secret garden, and unless you know where it is you might miss it, but it is worth finding out because this is a very sweet spot.



Entering through the white picket fence, the hidden had a long field with the prize of a fun playground at the end. The playground is fun to explore, with climbing frames, bridges, and a slide. There are even some swings as well. Your kids might like the general store, complete with mock EFTPOS machines, where they can play shop and use their imagination.





This is a great spot for playing ball games, and you could set up a friendly game of soccer with your kids. Be careful if you're thinking of having a kick of the footy, the park is surrounded by houses on three sides and you might end up retrieving your ball from a few houses if it goes over the fence. The park is small, but you'll still find lots of fun here.



is also a lovely place for a picnic, but just remember that it is a playground. While it would be a great place for a picnic with your family, you wouldn't want to picnic here without children. You'll also have to keep parking in mind when visiting the park. There is only 2 hour parking on the street unless you have a permit, so if you're planning on staying longer you might have to park round the corner. This keeps the street pretty quiet, so it is a nice place to play without having to listen to the engines of cars constantly.

This beautiful park is a great place to take the kids, and the playground it suitable for younger and older children. It feels extra special when you walk through the gates that hide the playground from the world. Add to the places you visit when you're looking for a fun place to take your children.
